  • I’m coeliac, Can you cater for me?

We cater for all dietaries.  Please make yourself known so I chef can ensure we deliver to your needs.  We have a separate fryer and preparation area.  We also have gluten free buns in stock at all times.

  • Do you have disabled toilets?

Yes we do and a drop off point outside with a ramp into the Main Bar.  There is designated disabled parking also next door.

  • Do you take reservations?

Yes we do.  You can either call 1800 264 448 or book via OpenTable  for The Dining Room or order over the Main Bar.

  • When are you open?

We are open 7 days and serve food all day.  11am until late Monday – Friday and 10am until late Saturday – Sunday.

The restaurant closes from 2.30pm – 5pm to reseat the restaurant however you can sit and order food in the Main Bar.

  • Do you have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options?

Yes.  Everything is indicated on the menus.  You can also substitute steam vegetables or salad for the chips.

  • Can you accommodate large groups?

Yes.  If you want to book anything over 10 people, we can organise a space for you up to 100 people.  You can call to discuss on 1800 264 448 or email functions@sandgatepostofficehotel.com.

  • Do you have a kids menu?

Yes we do and it includes a drink and icecream!  Sundays after 5pm in The Dining Room kids go free.

  • I want to celebrate my birthday, anniversary, wedding reception or corporate meeting.  Do you accommodate this?

Yes we do!  Check out the various spaces and request a function package.

  • Can you bring your own cake and is it free?

Yes you can however you need to bring your own napkins.  We can store it in the keg room until you are ready.

If you want cakeage we can also provide that service.  We cut the cake up for you, and plate it with strawberries and cream.  The cost is $2.50 per person.

  • Do you show any football and cricket games?

Yes we have several televisions around the Main Bar.  Justs ask staff if they arent on your game!

  • Do you have Trivia?

Yes we do Wednesdays in the Main Bar at 6.30pm.  You can book at table for this event here.

  • Do you do Open Mic?

Yes we do at the end of the Sunday Jazz Session on the last Sunday of the month.
